The prostate is an organ of the male reproductive and urinary tract and sits below the bladder.
It’s main function is to support the sperm, produced by the testes, in getting to where it has to go. It produces the majority of the fluid in the male ejaculate.
The prostate is susceptible to 2 main disease processes: benign (non-cancerous) enlargement and prostate cancer.
